Funeral service for Doyle Buttram, 87, Lawton, will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dean Thompson, Pastor, Brockland Free Will Baptist Church officiating.
Mr. Buttram passed away on Wednesday, January 25 in Lawton.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
Doyle was born September 21, 1924 near Keota, OK to Watie & Rhoda Arnold Buttram and was the oldest of eight children. He married Mary Lou Brazeal in 1943. They moved to Lawton in 1946 and Doyle worked as a truck driver for Nash Finch Produce Company, and later for both Mead’s Fine Bread and Rainbo Bread before retiring after over 38 years as a bread salesman.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou. In 1997, he married Audrey Woodall.
Doyle enjoyed watching high-school and college sports, and fishing with his family. In recent years he volunteered at Lawton Mobile Meals and served one year as a Delegate for the Board of Trustees. Doyle was member of Brockland Free Will Baptist Church and also attended services at Centenary Methodist Church. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and church families.
Doyle is survived by his wife, Audrey Buttram, of the home; a daughter Saundra Johnson and her husband Gale of Yukon OK, and a son Chuck Buttram and his wife Lynn of Argyle TX, a step-son Tim Woodall and his wife Sandy of Joplin MO, and step-daughter-in-law Susan Woodall of Lawton. Doyle is also survived by nine grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, two brothers and sisters in law, Loal and Madell Buttram and Loy and Nellie Buttram of Lawton, and three sisters Vivian Williamson and her husband Neil of Lawton, Martha Langford of Cache, and Reba Jo Denton of Milan TN. Doyle was also fortunate to have several nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Lana Cummins and a step-son, Rick Woodall both of Lawton; Doyle’s parents, and two brothers, Eddie and Kenneth Buttram.

The family will greet friends from 7-9 pm Friday at the funeral home.
