Mrs. A.R. (Arthur) Boyd was fatally burned yesterday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Post, of Washington street. Mrs. Boyd was preparing lunch over a gas stove when her clothing caught fire. The flames spread rapidly and she was enveloped in them when her cries attracted a neighbor. A doctor was summoned and after an examination it was found necessary to send her to St. Elizabeth Hospital, Elizabeth, where she died last evening.
