Mrs. Susannah Hutton Has Passed Away.
Mother of Mrs. H.S. Embree, of Clark Street, Succumbs After Lingering Illness.
Mrs. Susannah Hutton, mother of Mrs. H.S. Embree, of Clark street, died at the home of her daughter on Thursday last, after a lingering illness. Mrs. Hutton was in her seventy-ninth year and was the widow of the late Dr. George Hutton.
Besides Mrs. Embree one son, George Wilson, of New York City, survives her. Mrs. Hutton had been a resident of this town for several years past and was a member of the First Methodist church, taking an interest in the several societies of that church she made a large number of friends.
The funeral services were held from her late home on Saturday evening and were conducted by Rev. Dr. G. Franklin Ream, of the First M.E. church. Interment was made in the family plot in Evergreen cemetery, New York.
