CHILLICOTHE: David W. Lovensheimer, 72, of Chillicothe, Ohio died 5:40 a.m. Sunday, January 27, 2013 in the Adena Regional Medical Center following a short illness.

He was born August 6, 1940, in Ross County, Ohio to the late Walter R. and Frieda Clark Lovensheimer.

On January 18, 1964, he married the former Evelyn Ankrom who survives; also surviving are daughters, Michele (Jack) Martin, of Chillicothe, Ohio, Ann-Marie (Todd) Shaffer, of Chillicothe and Rebecca (William) Hatfield, of South Salem, Ohio; grandchildren, Jack (Jennifer) Martin, III, Joshawa (Samantha Kuntz) Martin, Evan Shaffer, Bryce Shaffer and Jonsea Hatfield; a step granddaughter, Felicia Steele; great grandchildren, Jackson Martin, Jaylynn Martin, Joshawa Ryan Martin II and Addyson Martindale;
a brother, Clark R. (June) Lovensheimer, formerly of Chillicothe; a sister, Marsha (Donald) Fout, of Chillicothe; sisters-in-law, Margie Lovensheimer, formerly of Chillicothe, Jeanette Lovensheimer, of Florence, SC, Donna Brucoli, of Canfield, OHIO, Judith (Andy) Kuntzman, of Vandalia, OH, Sondra (Melvin) Young, of Chillicothe and Sandy Hall, of Colorado; and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by brothers, Jack and Ronald Lovensheimer; and a sister, Betty Cutright.

David served in the U.S. Navy. He was a 1958 graduate of Catholic Central High School.
David had worked at the former Baldwin Printers, the Goodyear Atomic Plant and Midland and was currently working part time at Watt Street Feed and Supply. He loved golfing and fishing.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, January 31, 2013 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Fr. Lawrence Hummer officiating.

Military honors will be conducted by the Ross County Veterans Honor Guard.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ware's where a wake service will be held at 5:30 p.m.
