John Badgley Passes Away

John Badgley, 80 years old, died yesterday in Muhlenberg Hospital from pneumonia.

The deceased is the last of his line, although he has some distant relatives in South Plainfield. He was one of the oldest residents of Westfield and formerly owned the farm known as the "Badgley Farm," which is said to have been purchased from the Indians some two hundred years ago. The farm is now owned by Attorney Frederick S. Taggart.
