AUSTINTOWN – Robert H. Suchora, 74, passed away Thursday evening, Feb. 14, 2013, at Briarfield Manor.
Robert, who was also affectionately known to his friends as “B.O.B.,” was born in Youngstown, Ohio on Nov. 1, 1938, a son of the late Joseph and Marie Jasinski Suchora, and was a lifelong area resident.
Mr. Suchora was a graduate of Wilson High School and attended Youngstown State University.
He worked at the A&P Warehouse for a short time, and then became a car salesman for various local auto dealerships.
He was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Austintown, enjoyed golf and all sports, and he thoroughly enjoyed the time he spent with his fellow workers, customers, and most of all, his family.
Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years, Donna J. Bryer Suchora, whom he married July 23, 1960; his children, Robert J. (Kim) Suchora of Murrysville, Pa., Ronald A. Suchora of Austintown, Ohio, and Davene M. Williams of Austintown; a grandson, Nolan Suchora; three brothers, Mitch (Lynn) Suchora of Miami, Fla., Donald (Reenie) Suchora of New Jersey, and Joseph (Madelyn) Suchora of Poland, Ohio; and a sister, Carol (Mario) Carano of Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today, Feb. 17, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road in Youngstown.
Funeral services begin at 9:15 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 18, at the funeral home, and continue with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church on Norquest Boulevard.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Youngstown.
