Death Claims Popular Show Man.

Clarence T. Brokaw, manager of the Hand Shoe Store, on Broad street, passed away at his home in West Front street, Plainfield, early Monday morning after an illness of about one week. Mr. Brokaw was a man that knew the show business from A to Z, and came to Westfield from the Van Arsdale store, in Plainfield, about one year ago. From the start the business flourished under the capable management of Mr. Brokaw and by his pleasant manner and ability to please he made many friends in town. The funeral services will be held from his late home this evening.
