LAKE WYLIE, S.C. – Rose (Porcase) Liguore, 93, formerly of Youngstown and Stow, Ohio passed away Saturday evening, Feb. 16, 2013.

Rose was born on Jan. 20, 1920, in Youngstown, Ohio the daughter of James and Fannie (Green) Warino.

Rose worked as a Senior Receptionist for 18 years at the information desk with St. Elizabeth Medical Center, retiring in 1985.
She was a graduate of East High School.

Her husband, Victor Porcase, whom she married Nov. 21, 1940, passed away Jan. 12, 1965, and her husband, Joseph Liguore, whom she married April 16, 1971, passed away March 22, 1995.

Besides her parents and husbands, Rose was preceded in death by her beloved daughter Angie Greco, who passed away April 9, 1991; her brothers, Nick, Morris and James; and sisters Mary and Phyllis.

She is survived by her beloved brother, Joseph Warino, with whom she celebrated her last weekend of life; her daughters, JoAnn Canacci, with whom she made her home in Lake Wylie and Phyllis (Jerry) DeLorenzo of Boardman, Ohio; son-in-law Don Greco of Sylvania, Ohio; eight wonderful grandchildren, Dana Rose, Jeremy, Victor (Gabriella), Bill, Christine (Todd), Ben (Annie), Luke (Amber) and Nick (Christy); seven beautiful great-grandchildren, Grace Ann, Isabella Rose, Giovanni, Gabriel, Adrianna, Tyler and Angie; many loving nieces and nephews; and special women with whom she talked weekly, sister-in-law Mary Napolitano (her husband Victor’s sister), cousin Mary Jamison, and friends Ange LaRubbio and Sherry Huston.

“We will all miss her quick wit and humor, her cooking and baking, which she loved, and watching her delight in playing cards and scratching off lottery tickets.”

She loved being with friends, old and new, the Ohio State football and all the excursions that she went on - from past trips to Las Vegas to new adventures in South Carolina.

There will be funeral services at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013 followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua Church
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, at the Rossi Brothers and Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman, Ohio.

Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
