BOARDMAN , Ohio– Vincent L. Nardy, 86, passed away Monday, Feb. 25, 2013.
Vincent was born Sept. 24, 1926, in Youngstown, Ohio the son of Antolino and Anna Marie (Fazio) Nardy.
Vincent served in the U.S. Navy from 1944 to 1946.
He was employed at Gray Drug and Strouss Drug Stores and then went on to Cornersburg Pharmacy, where he was a pharmacist and co-owner.
His wife, the former Nancy Ann Burns, whom he married April 27, 1957, passed away Dec. 6, 2011.
He was a member of St. Charles Church. He also was a member of Youngstown Wolves Club Den No. 6, ITAM Post No. 3 and the Frank Marino Post.
Vincent was a history buff and also enjoyed golfing, dancing and playing cards, but most of all he cherished the time spent with his family and friends.
Vincent will always be lovingly remembered by his four children, Vincent Jr. (Roseann) Nardy of Solon, Ohio, Margaret “Molly” Nardy of Boardman, Victor (Robin) Nardy of Columbus and Mandy (Joe) Arnone of Kalispell, Montana; eight grandchildren, John (Lysette) Ludt IV, Kinsey Ludt, Chelsy (Josh) Holecko, Dr. Vincent Nardy, Margaret Nardy, Matthew Nardy, Payton Hallos and Ethan Hallos; and two great-grandsons, Jaxon Ludt and Landon Holecko.
Friends may call on Friday, March 1, 2013, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home, 4442 South Ave. in Boardman.
There will be a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at the Rossi Brothers & Lellio Funeral Home in Boardman, followed by an 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Charles Church in Boardman, Ohio
Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
