PALSHOOK HELEN ELIZABETH PALSHOOK (Krasucki), born July 21, 1921 departed March 16, 2013 at the age of 91.5 to be rejoined with her husband, Peter.
They were married November 20, 1948 for 64 years until his death July 5, 2010.
A city girl from Slavic Village, Cleveland, Ohio she took to country life in Richfield, Ohio since 1952.
Quilter, gardener, canner, fisherman, she earned Fish Ohio awards in '81 and '94.
A union contract negotiator, she retired from Eastview Cafeteria of Revere in '81.
An elder hosteller, she traveled to Peru, Poland, Rome, Greece, Alaska and Hawaii.
She loved Polish genealogy, polkas and will be best remembered for her jokes and sense of humor.
She is survived by her children, Marcia Nauts, Gayle and Jeffrey Palshook; her grandchild, Helen Bridge; and her sister Clara Roslan.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Antonia (Kruczyk) and Josef Krasucki and her siblings, Josephine Kwiatkowski, Stanley "Smokie" Krause and Bernard and Joseph Krasucki.
Gather at St. Victor's Church, Richfield, Ohio 9 a.m. Friday, June 7 with Mass at 10 a.m. Christian Burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Cuyahoga Hts., Ohio.
