BROOKFIELD – Isabelle “Izzy” Regginello of Brookwood Drive, passed away at 11:13 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2013, at the hospital of Sharon Regional Health Systems, Sharon, Pennsylvania with her family by her side. She was 88.
Isabelle was born June 9, 1924, in Brookfield, a daughter of Adam and Elizabeth Hausladen Tishov.
She was a 1942 graduate of Brookfield High School. Following high school, Izzy went on to attend Youngstown College.
Mrs. Regginello retired on April 1, 1984, after 18 years as an administrative assistant for Penzoil.
Izzy was a member of St. Joseph’s Church, the Crochet Club, Shenango Valley Senior Center, Brookfield Over the Hill Gang, and card clubs.
She enjoyed cooking, watching the various cooking shows on television, crocheting lap blankets for residents at senior care facilities, reading, and playing euchre.
Izzy and her husband loved to travel.
They had traveled overseas and lived in Morocco Africa, Okinawa, and numerous other locations.
Her husband, Joseph Regginello, whom she married Oct. 17, 1953, passed away on July 6, 1981.
She is survived by four children, John and his wife, Carla Regginello of Hermitage, Pa., Matthew and his wife, Carla Regginello of New Market, Va., Michelle and her husband, David Quimby of Austintown, Ohio, and Marka and her husband, Michael Sonoga of Brookfield; a stepdaughter, Francis Cervone of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a brother, Adam Tishov of Sharon, Pa.; eight grandchildren, Tyler Pruitt, Corrin Regginello, Coleman Regginello, Shelly Shamblin, Joseph Regginello, Cam Winfrey, Zack Winfrey and Vincent Sonoga; four great-grandchildren, Katrina and Elan Shamblin, Ryder Winfrey and Kellen Winfrey.
Izzy is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
Calling hours will be on Monday, June 3, 2013, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 1090 E. State St. in Sharon, Pa.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at 1 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Church.
Interment will be at St. Rose Cemetery.
