Iam interested in your ancestor, John Pate, who was killed in a sawmill accident in White County, AR. I have an ancestor who was said to be traveling with or owned a sawmill company in the same area. He died in 1882 or about then. Can you tell me anything about John Pate? Where was he from before coming to Arkansas? What happened to his wife after he died? Thanks. lequia@sbcglobal.net
