      <title>Harold L. Walker - Mansfield, Ohio </title>

      <description>MANSFIELD: Harold L. Walker, 76, of Mansfield, Ohio passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, April 20, 2012. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Born September 11, 1935 in Mansfield, he was the son of Lester and Nevella (Addlesberger) Walker. &lt;br&gt;A 1953 graduate of Ontario High School, Harold was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he was an engineer and secretary to the Major at Ft. McLeland, AL. &lt;br&gt;He worked as a business agent for Bricklayers Union, Local #40 for over 40 years before retiring in 1997. &lt;br&gt;Harold was also a Gold Card member of Local #40 and past union president for the State of Ohio.&lt;br&gt; He was a member of the American Legion in Bellville, VFW in Lexington and Ontario,  and a lifetime member of Local #40. &lt;br&gt;Harold always loved a party, especially his Halloween party he threw every year. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, fishing, and going for a walk in the woods, and loved spending time at his cabin in Pennsylvania. Harold enjoyed life. He spent most days working on his daily "to-do" list, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family, grandchildren, and friends. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Walker of Mansfield; daughters, Vicki (Bill) DeVore of Bellville, Ohio and Terri Tallman of Indianapolis, IN; son, Garland (Eve) Tallman of Clarksville, TN; grandchildren, John, Crysti, Jeff, Rachael, Erin, Garl, Eamon, and Ian; 16 great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and very good friends. &lt;br&gt;Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Darlene Dewalt and grandchildren, Donna and Siobhan. &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;Friends may call Tuesday, April 24, 2012 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Ontario Home of Wappner Funeral Directors, 100 S. Lexington-Springmill Rd., Ontario. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 25, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. &lt;br&gt;Military graveside services conducted by the Richland County Joint Veterans Burial Squad will follow in Mansfield Memorial Park.
