Ann,

I have corresponded with you in the past. My g.grandfather also had a brick business in Phila. I have just learned from Phila. city directories the the name of the business was R.B.Wible and Son (Richard B. and Edward S.) SW c 11th and Ontario St. This would be North Phila. Near Temple Hopsital, if you are fimiliar with this area.
I also found John J. McCay in the city directory.
1880 Phila. directory - Wm. McCay, bricklayer 2048 Kimball.
John J. McCay 1729 Wharton, bricklayer.
1885 city directory - John J. McCay 1509 Christian.
1890 city directory - McCay & Co. (John J. McCay & Wesley Williams) bricks, Bridge c Adaline Fkd.
I don't know if you already have this information but I kept you in my file and when I found out I decided to pass it on.
Hope it helps.
