I am searching for information about the ship "Hemisphere" number 106857. I would like to know details about her voyages, cargo, captain and crew.
I believe my great-grandfather William Jones b. 1865 Bangor, Wales served as 2nd(?) mate on board from 1898 to 1899. He died at sea Dec 14, 1899. I'm looking for the circumstances surrounding his death and trying to confirm his next of kin.
Does anyone have access to National Maritime Museum, Greenwich?
