I have been told by a family member that my grandfather, Solomon Ford was a Pastor at the Mack Avenue Church of God in Christ,located in Detroit Michigan. The time frame would be in the late 1920's. Solomon Ford died 25 April 1929 and supposedly had his funeral at the same church. I am interested in finding out if this church is still around (the exact address) and some history of the church (especially during the late 1920's).
