Request look-up at Kew please

If anyone reading this is going to Kew to look up their own ancestors in the coastguard I would appreciate a look-up please.

My coastguard ancestor was Henry CLINTON, and he served at various stations in Ireland and England. I have the census page from 1851 with his family, and according to that data, Henry served at the following places during the following times:

Poole, Dorset, 1837. His son Richard was born at this time.
Ryde, Isle-of-Wight, 1838-1840. His daughter Catherine and son John (my direct ancestor) were born during this assignment.
Breumore (sp?), Galway, 1843. His son William was born at this time.
Rye, Sussex, 1844-1848. His children James, Margaret and Mary were born at that time.
Bexhill, Sussex, 1851. At census time the family resided at Martello Tower #55.

If some kind soul is willing to do a look-up for me into Henry's coastguard records I will reimburse them for copy charges, parking, and even a lunch, as well as any postage charges. I live in Canada, so it is terribly expensive for me to travel over to Kew personally. We've struggled for many years to learn more about Henry and his family. Thanks to the kindness of another CLINTON researcher we now have the 1851 census entry, but I confess to being a little "Oliver-ish", and want to know more. I would be willing to do a look-up at the National Archives in Canada in exchange for Henry's coastguard records. Serious offers only please.

Newhaven coastguard station 1836 lookup

My greatgrandfather Charles Barker came to Newhaven Station on 7th Sept 1836 to join the coastguard service. The coastgard Establishment books say he came from HMS TRINCULI. This ship does not seem to exist, but there is a ship called the TRINCULO. Index to coastguard records also notes the TRINCULI. Could this be an transcription error. Can anyone help please?
Good Evening, Would anyone be able to help with my query? They all died there, James in 1839 I thank you for any help that may be out there! Margaret

He was born in c 1830 in Caithness (any info regarding that gratefully received), and married Sarah Jane ABBOTT who originally came from Deal, Kent, so I assume he must have been posted there at some point. If anyone has come across this McAdie branch of the family, please contact me. Am happy to swap the info I have for William's decendants.

This posting follows on from an earlier one on the SUSSEX board in which I was seeking information on my grandmother’s Brother Joseph Richard SIMMS (included below). On that message I had attached a photo of Joseph R. SIMMS, in uniform, with wife and three children, photo taken about 1902. Keen to contact descendants. However, in the list of fellow coastguards, someone may connect to them; with great luck someone may have group photos, letters or memories of say shipwreck rescues etc.

From 1901 Census, The following were all members of HM Coastguards, living in Coastguard Street, Ovingdean (rural district Newhaven), Sussex. From “oldmaps” there was a coastguard station on the beach front at Blackrock farm on eastern edge of Brighton, Sussex, almost exactly where the modern pleasure boat marina stands today. The wives and children are not shown below. The coastguards were born in many parts of UK and one in Ireland.

Christopher CARSONS – Head-Married- 50 – Chief Officer - born Ireland
Charles PYKE – Head – Single – 33 –boatman–born Devonport, Devon
George J. SCOTT – Head – married – 40 – boatman – born East Stonehouse, Devon
Joseph R. SIMMS - Head – married – 32 –boatman –born Oxford
William MELHUISH- Head – married – 44 –boatman – born Neuton, Devon
Albert HAMMOND - Head – married – 32 –boatman –born Pitland, Sussex
John YALL - Head – married – 36 –boatman –born Lytham, Lancs
Alfred E. HOLLAND - married – 37 –boatman –born Portsmouth, Hants.
Charles BOYCE - married – 38 –boatman –born –Brighton, Sussex
Thomas E. HARDING - married – 45 –Chief boatman –born Ringwood, Hants

Crossing my fingers
Cliff Jones
John Segrave gave his occupation as "Excise Officer" when his son Samuel was baptised in 1830 at Gt. Bardfield in Essex. I am informed the family do not appear on the 1841 census for the parish. I know Samuel was in Australia by 1853, but do not know when he/they left England or where his father John may have been in England before/after 1830. Any help/information appreciated.

John CARTER, coastguard late1820s to 1860s, & son William CARTER

I seek information about my gt.gt.gr.father John CARTER who was a UK coastguard from late 1820s to about 1860s or 70s. John was born Stoke Damerel, Plymouth, about 1805, and is reputed to have been son of a smuggler.???? He married Phillis James LASKEY at Flushing about 1829 and two children were born there. (Phillis' father, William LASKEY was also a "mariner"). From about 1833 to about 1840 John CARTER’s station was Outer Hope village in South Huish parish, Devon, where their next five children were born. After this he was apparently posted to Torquay, Devon, where the youngest son was born. Censuses of 1841, 1851, 1861 confirm that John CARTER was posted from Flushing, Cornwall; to Outer Hope village, South Huish, Devon; then to Torquay.

I am also seeking information about my great-grandfather William Edward Laskey CARTER, born Flushing, Cornwall 1832, who is said to have been in the British Merchant Marine from late 1840s to about 1875. William CARTER is said to have been mate on a vessel when he "jumped ship" to try his luck at the New Zealand goldfields about 1874.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as it is extremely difficult to research the UK PRO from here in Australia.
Thanks, Peter Carter.
Was Coastguard in Withernsea (E Yorks) during WW2, covering Spurn Point to Flamborough Head.
Am looking to find out more - especially his Coast Guard history and any info about before that when he was probably in the RN?
