Watkins Jr. , age 80, passed away peacefully September 1, 2010 at Doctors Hospital West, Columbus, Ohio. <br><br>Born December 21, 1929, in Columbus, Ohio. Retired Electrician. Member IBEW Local 683; and Veteran U.S. Navy. Wally was a gifted athlete at West High School and a lifelong golfer. He was also a proud Union brother. <br><br>Wallace worked hard, played harder and left many great memories with all who knew him. <br><br>Preceded in death by parents Wallace and Mildred Watkins, brother George (Nancy) Watkins, sister Dorothy (Bill) Brown and son Christopher Watkins. <br><br>Survived by wife, Sarah (Steele) Watkins; daughters, Cindi (Richie) Morris, Cathy Watkins, Carol (John) Belford; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; sister, Juanita (Kayo) Parsley; and brother, Frank Watkins. <br><br>There will be a gathering of friends Tuesday 5-8 p.m. at JERRY SPEARS FUNERAL HOME with CREMATORY, 2693 W.
