This information is very helpful. Looking at it closely, the Sam I am looking for isn't included. He would have been 19 years of age in 1917 and was definately in Rossiter, PA. I feel that even though the accidents are required to be reported, it seems that you weren't given this information to enter. I know you can only enter what you have. Rossiter was an active area, had 5000 people living there and close to 1000 miners. For whatever reason, it doesn't seem these accident records surfaced.
Thank you again for all your work and the quick responses. I'm going to let the Punxsy Historical Society know of our finds to see if they have any insights. I know when I was there last week, someone dropped off records from the Adrian mines. So the stuff still contiinues to surface.
