Dear Cheryl:
Just found your posting re: Stanley Hilbruner of Canonsburg working for steel mill.
He and his family is listed in the 1930 census for 3rd ward of Canonsburg, Page 3A ED 17 lines 29 thru 34.
His occupation is listed as heater for tin plate mill.
9/12/1918 WWI registration card shows him living at 137 S Central Ave with wife Rosalia Hilbroner, working at Fort Pitt Bridge works.
I am related to him through his wife Rose Rzepka who was a cousin of my maternal grandmother.
According to my mother's tales in my childhood, he also worked in a coal mine in Castle Shannon
