Look-up Offer - Digby County Shipowners.
I have copies of some of the Ships Registers of Digby County (ports of Digby and Weymouth), for the years - 1874, 1880, 1886, 1888, 1890, and 1892. Also a list of vessels (given to the Digby Courier by Charles H. Payson, Collector of Customs at Westport) owned at Freeport and Westport 1840 -1875. If anyone would like a lookup please let me know (will I regret saying that :-), and I will do my best to get back to you promptly ( depending on how busy and how many requests I receive). The records give : name of vessel, type, where built, when built, tons, and name of owner(s).
