This is probably a long shot: We have a family story about being Irish though our O'Connors go back to the 1770's in St. Maarten and Anguilla.
The story goes that the "originals" [My great grandfather changed the name "back" to O'Connor from Conner.] were two brothers who were ship's captains who had sailed from Nova Scotia and stayed in the area, maybe St. Kitt's first.
Any help, direction, guesses would be greatly appreciated.
