If you are still doing lookups, it would be very helpful to me if you could check an ancestor. He was in two or three editions of the Glasgow Directory as a Shoemaker in the 1870s, and his death cert said he was a Master Shoemaker. His address was in Duke Street, opposite the meat market!
His name was WILLIAM WELLS.
