Surnames: Smith, Dexter
Hello :

I wonder if anyone in New York has information on Smith or Dexter who owned a shipyard in the 1800 - 1900. I do not have the name of the city where it was built.
They helped to the goverment during the civil war building ships.( 1860 - 1870)
