Inquiring regarding a David W. White b 1821, d 1914, bur in Palo Pinto Co. He served as a Ranger most of his adult life. Have reason to believe he served in areas of Jack, Navarro, Young, Parker & Palo Pinto counties. Might have been associated with Lawrence Sullivan Ross (Sul Ross) in the 1860s during his tenure with the Rangers. The repository at Waco was unable to locate any records. Does anyone have knowledge of this time frame & direct me to another source.
