Looking for information on my relative who was said to be a Texas Ranger. His name is Tom Powell-late 1800's from Freestone County in Texas. I have checked the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame, but their records don't go back that far. I am not near Austin so I can't research their Ranger records. Anyone have information on him or know how I can check the Ranger archives? Thanks.
