Nancy,
It is great to hear from you on my Buntin questions. My cousin Murry Buntin in Jackson, Tennessee has told me about the Buntins in Texas and Rangers. He has also stated that a Buntin was LBJ's grandmother and that her cabin is preserved at an LBJ museum in Texas. I would love to share information with you. I have found some Buntins from the Texas clan here in Oregon. I t seems that some of the Texas Buntins may have moved to Texas from Kentucky.

Daniel Buntin II would have been my grtgrtgrt grandfather. I have information and copies of Tennessee documents pertaining to his estate in Madison County and the division of it to Lydia Mayo Buntin. I aquired them at the Tennesse Room at the Madison County Library. Angeline T. Buntin was my grtgrtgrandmother. She married John M. Hinton about 1872.

Murry has a lot of information but is getting a little frail. He lives on a portion of Daniel's orignal farm lands in Jackson
