Classification: Query
Surnames: Buntin, Mayo, Hinton,
Trying to find information about an ancestor Buntin, full name unknown to me. He is related to my grtgrtgrtgrt grandfather Daniel Buntin from North Carolina who was of the Buntin's that setteld in Kentucky but knew Sam Huston and went to Texas with him, eventually helped found the Texas Rangers and supposed has a portrait hanging in the State Capitol of Texas. A descendant of this Line was the grandmother of Lyndon Baines Johnson and her cabin is said to be preserved at his museum.

I'm a descendant of Daniel Buntin, II who settled in West Tennessee near Jackson.

This according to Albert Murry Buntin, in Jackson Tennessee
