I'm also wondering about the lack of info from the Texas Rangers. Have read the obit you reference, but a trip to the Ranger Museum yielded same results. Have you contacted Dolores, daughter of Willie, second oldest child of Edward and Lena? She's the "official historian" - as far as I'm concerned - of the Young family. Best of luck in your search...
