Service records for Scottish Police forces
Hello All,
Can anyone tell me if there are any surviving service records for the Police forces of Glasgow & Edinburgh from the 1860's until the 1920's please?
My wife's ancestor; James Alexander Stuart served for many years in both forces & we think that he finished his career as an Inspector in the Edinburgh force.
