William B. Scott US Marshal, Dis. of LA.
Is anyone familiar with William B. Scott. He was appointed to the District of Louisiana. Date of service and parish unknown. He was born about late 1700s', perhaps 1796, and was a son of Abram Marshall Scott, past Governor of Mississippi 1832. I am trying to locate a biographical history on William. Please advise.
