Elmer W. FAY 1907 Veterinary Diploma , London, Ontario

I have my grandfather, Elmer W. FAY's May 1907 Veterinary Diploma from the Veterinary Science Association, signed by T. H. HASKETT, D.V.D. "Secretary" and J. E. HODGINS, VS &D, "President".

Can someone tell me anything about this Canadian Veterinary School?

I also have a few livestock Veterinary books - 1881 to 1916 that were used by "FAY" and his father-in-law, Dugald CAMPBELLon farms and ranches in western Nebraska up to about 1930. These old vet books are 'profusely illustrated' and indexed - if anyone would want me to look something up.

The terminology is 'quaint?', but understandable, and most of the treatments recommended are similar to those in use in today's veterinary practices. However some of the drugs listed as "remedies" are no longer available.

Interesting and a little different as research goes.

Clara in NE

Dr. James E. CONNOR in Page County,Iowa

Hannah HOLMES MURRAY married Dr. James E. CONNOR sometime after Jan., 1870 and before March, 1871 in Page County,Iowa. I am looking for information on James E. Connor as he took Hannah's son George MURRAY with him after her death. My grandmother was Rebecca MURRAY, Hannah's daughter and she always worried about what happened to her brother. Although Rebecca died before I was born, I would love to solve this mystery for her.Any help would be appreciated.........Dorothy
