I want to thank you for responsding to my request some time ago about John Ericson. What a intersting story about your great, great uncle. Several people over the last several years have resonded to my request. Can you see the responses as well? If not, I can forward to you since there is a substantial amount of history on John. This violin has been in my family for over thirty years. My parents purchased this violin from a member of the RI Philharmonic Orchestra when I was in third grade. My oldest son is intersted in playing so it sparked my interst since I haven't played for some time. I cleaned and polished (as well as played, although not like the old days). This particular violin was build in 1927 and it a beautiful tigar maple. In any event, if you ever had a picture or some other info on John, that would be greatly appreciated. Our address is Jeff Krupa, 3801 Foxcroft Rd. Charlotte, NC 28211. We relocated from Boston after I sent the original email and I grew up in RI (background on being in RI). Thanks, Jeff 704-364-4174
