Mary Stout nee Murphy died at Morpeth on 16 March 1851 and was buried in the East Maitland Cemetery. At the time of her death at about 28 she had a husband, Adam Stout and two children, one of whom Catherine was my great great great grandmother.

Mary and Adam were married at Armidale, and after Mary's death Adam remarried. He died at Morpeth on 8 October 1860 and again was buried at East Maitland Cemetery. I understand Adam, just prior to his death was a Constable of Police working at the Maitland Gaol.

Information on burial of Mary at East Maitland confirmed through the Cemetery Index, Adam's details were on his death certificate.

Any information on this family, particularly confirmation of Adam's employment at time of death would be greatly appreciated.
