The Trimeloni family came from Garda, Italy and for many generations were smugglers. At least that is what my part of the clan did. Of course then it was a respectable way to earn a living. When they migrated to the states some of the clan went to the Northeast (NY, PA) and some went to Northern Ca. That was my grandfather.....Joseph Trimeloni. It is well known inside the family the Trimeloni's were a wild and crazy bunch. Suicides, murders and all sorts of tales abound. A hijacking would not surprise me. My father, Richard spent most of his early years in the San Francisco area. I was born in Richmond. I do not know if any of this info helps but I thought I would pass it along. I am always looking for connections to the Trimeloni family. They are difficult to trace.....very secret bunch.
