Professor Frei, Organist
I am searching for the brother of my great grandfather, Mr. Frei who was born in Switzerland, came to America about 1866 and played the organ in a Roman Catholic Cathedral in Columbus in the years 1883-1887. He was run over by a streetcar and died of these injuries. I do not know his first name. My great grandfather's name was Fortunatus J.V. Frei and he was a tailor by trade and lived all over.
He also taught music. This is all that I know and I pray that someone can find this information somewhere in the church records.
