Thanks for your response - a couple questions? Did you find out where it used to be (address?) when did it close? have you contacted the Catholic Church in Columbus? Where did you find the pictures?

My sister who lives in Columbus is really actively trying to find information - my mother (who passed last month) was an orphan there for a period of time around 1930. Putting together a family history is proving difficult, my mother was born in the mountains of KY and records are scarce. We do know from her stories that there was some sort of abuse at the orphange - and she ran away was caught and moved to another location by a judge. She really would never talk too much about the incident for obvious reasons but we feel the records from the location might get us in the right direction - looking forward to hearing from you soon and again thank you.
