Thanks so much for your help. St. Vincent's wasn't the right orphanage but your reply DID make me start looking again & I think that I hit the jackpot! I needed to find an orphanage/convent located on West Broad St. & I just found Good Shepherd Convent.
I found a picture of it & showed my Mom & she thinks that she recognizes it from when she & my Grandma would go to Columbus & visit relatives. She also thinks that she remembers the name "Good Shepherd" from Grandma's diploma & school picture.
