Convent/orphanage in Columbus, Ohio
My grandmother's parents died while she was young. Her father in 1917, when she was 4, & her mother in 1927, when she was 14. She, & her sister, were taken to a convent/orphanage in Columbus to live until they were grown up.
Nobody in my family knows what the name was of the convent but my mother seems to think that it was on High St. or Broad St.
My grandmother's name was Florence Rozella Katzenmeyer but she was given the name "Margaret" while she was in the convent. For the rest of her life she was known as "Peg". Her sister's name was Dolly Bernice Katzenmeyer.
If anyone can help me on what the name of the convent was or if they have any information on it, or my grandmother, I would deeply appreciate it!
Thanks!
