My Revolutionary War veteran is Adam Scain/Scains/Scane/Skene. Adam was born ca 1755; married Nancy Unk.; resided in Union Co., SC. Was in the Battle of Cowpens with his brothers Peter and John. John died in battle. Adam's pension file: # S 11 404, filed after the family migrated to Butler Co., AL. Interested to know if anyone has used Adam's service in DAR membership.
