I saw your posting. Yes it is Masonic. The uniform you have in the photo is for the commandary of York Rite. This a sub portion to the Blue Lodge Free and Accepted Masons. A.F. & A.M. My suggestion is to contact the grand lodge in the state this person lived. Give them their name and they will be able to look up his records and give you more information. You must be a Master Mason in the blue lodge before able to either go to York Rite or Scottish Rite sides of Masonry.
