Identity of old organizations

I'm transcribing & photographing cemeteries and have come across the following initials which I believe represent old organizations. Can anyone identify what the initials represent?
1. J. W. R.
2. J. D. V. F.
3. P. C. H.
4. G. A. R. I know that this one stands for Grand Army of the Republic, but I don't recognize any of the others.

Hi I have a question. I'm searching all the possible infos about a man. He wrotes in the mailing address on the WWII Draft registration card on 1942: "eagles home lebanon pa". I think it was the Fraternal order of Eagles. I've visited their web sites but could I find infos about it? Is there an archive where i could find infos about this man?

William Quigley d. 1893: Need help to know if he was a Woodmen of the World member

My Grandmother told me that my G/grandfather William Quigley was a member of the Woodmen of the World. I know that the insurance company keeps their records private, but I was still wondering if there is a way to do research for geneology purposes. I do not have the exact death date of my G/Grandfather. He was a miner in the Cripple Creek, Colorado area. My grandmother's memory was that he died in 1893. I have not been able to find a death certificate or a grave for him. I was hoping that the Woodmen of the World might have some information that could help me.

Please help identify this medal

This medal belonged to my husband's great-grandfather who emigrated from Italy in 1904. The writing on the white/red side is faded to the point it's pretty much illegible but what I can make out appears to be in a foreign language. The part on the darker (red) side is more visible.

The letters I can make out are:
"FRAT?? LANZA
???L(orR)ESE
Santa
Barbera
>clasped hands logo<
DI
MARCHANDVILLE PA
FONDATA
LL 2 JENAIO 1892"

The dark side is quite legible:
"TIROLISCHE
BRÜDERSCHAFT
SANTA
BARBEA
FON
MARCHANDVILLE PA
>clasped hands logo<
GEGRÜNDET
2 JANUAR 1892"

There is also a lable on the inside that says "Made by the M.C. Lilley Co; Columbus Ohio"

Woodmen of the World (WOW) Records

Does anybody know how well WOW kept records? I'm looking for information about my great-great grandfather who I know was a member (based on the WOW headstone). Would records include the names of his wives? Children? Is there a way to get access to the records? Do members have access?

Columbian Woodman

My great-grandfather, Miles W. King, died in Franklin Parish, Louisiana, in 1913. His only asset listed in his probate record is a $2,000 life insurance policy from Columbian Woodman with his four children as his beneficiaries and heirs.

Columbian Woodman is a fraternal order, I believe. Does anyone know of any researchable records that Columbian Woodman may have on their membership or their life insurance records?

Hi I have found a badge and a ribbon for Spring Garden Council No. 176 Lindenwold, N.J. I feel very lucky. My grand father was in the Dirigo Council 1026(per his obit.) I feel this was in Philadelphia, PA. Does anyone know anything about this organization? I have information off the Internet but it doesn't reallly say what they did.

I am trying to find information on my great-uncle who belonged to the above organisation.
His name was Thomas Smith, originally from Lambeth in England and I have a photo of him with other men from the lodge which he sent to my great-grandmother.

Looking for information on the AOB, Melbourne, early 1900s..My g/father EDWARD GRUBB was a member at some time, but we dont know which Lodge....He arrived in Melbourne early 1912 and remained til he died in 1966....
His past prior to his arrival in Aust is very unsure, and we are hoping we may find some reference to his recent past prior to his arrival.

Czech lodges, fraternites,societies, clubs??

My grandfather supposedly belonged to a hunting club
circa 1930's. Were these clubs organizations popular in
Czech?? how do I go about finding out info on these??
He was from the Souther Moravia area (Jihomoravsky)
in a village of Joslowitz, that is now Jaroslavice near Znojmo.
Was the hunting club like a brotherhood organization?? Were membership rolls kept? Did you have to pay dues to belong?
any help referalls, appreciated.
