John Bush, Angeline Hewitt, Edwin Bush

I am looking for information to connect this family (John Bush, Angeline Hewitt, Edwin Bush) to the Levi Hewitt Descendants and the Michael Bush Descendants. There seems to be strong suggestion, that they are connected, but I cannot find enough information on John Bush.
Edwin A. Bush is my great grandfather. A picture I have from Edwin says that Angeline Bush is his mother. The headstone of Angeline Bush list her date of birth as May 1, 1842. The cemetery notes her maiden name as Hewitt and that she was the wife of John Bush.
Edwin Bush was born May 27, 1868. Edwin had 3 siblings-1 brother and 2 sisters.
I have been unable to find any birth or death information on John Bush.
