Thank you for the resonse to my query re Lt. Robert Mackay. I have found it very difficult to find out who his parents were, since I have no names of any brothers or sisters he might have had, which might have made the task of finding the family easier. I am hoping someone else doing a family tree might have come across the name, and so lead me back another generation. Lt. Robert Mackay was my gt.gt.gt.grandfather.
