The brother was Donald MacKay.
Donald settled in Toronto and had a family of two girls and one boy, Kate, Nellie, Sandy.
He had brothers, William (1832 - d.1924) & John (1835 - d. 1916), who settled in Portage La Prairie and another brother, Philip, who we believe died in Oregon, U.S.A.
