In a bio of an ancestor, I read that he joined "the Wheel." From the article, I can only add that this organization was in late 1890s Choctaw Nation, Indian Territory, and that they had positions such as president, treasurer and so forth. It also appears that group was organized by county as it referred to it as "the Wheel of Blue county." Any ideas? Thanks!
