In researching David M Drury I found newspaper articles about his membership in the Masonic Lodge. There are several notations regarding his membership or service. In an article dated 19 August 1899 The Brooklyn Eagle...Titled Royal Arch...stated he was Secretary of the Faternal Union of Anoited High Priests - had been - Master Mason in Progressive Lodge - past High Priest of Progressive chapter - member of DeWitt Clinton Commandery and of Mecca Temple as well as the Masonic Veterns......would there be a record of his death with one of these organizations? I have not been able to find out when he died....the last I find him is in the 1920 census in Brooklyn. Pat Holling -- pholling@tds.net La Center WA
