Sarah Richmond, granddau, of Thomas Rogers?

I'm trying to find out if William Sears born about 1702 in VA was the son of James Sears and Sarah Richmond, I have seen some listings for James Sears being Sarah's half-brother, and others listing her as the wife of a James Walker.

Here the info I have, not sure if it is right, would be greatful of any help:

1. John Richmond was born in 1629 in Taunton, Bristol, Massachusetts. He died on October 7, 1715 in Taunton, Bristol,
Massachusetts.

He was married to Abigail Rogers in 1662/63. Abigail Rogers was born in 1641 in Duxbury, Plymouth, Mass. She died on
August 1, 1727 in Taunton, Bristol, Massachusetts. John Richmond and Abigail Rogers had the following children:

+2 i. Sarah Richmond (born on February 26, 1669/70).

SECOND GENERATION

2. Sarah Richmond was born on February 26, 1669/70 in Taunton, Bristol, Massachusetts. She died on November 27, 1727
in Taunton, Bristol, Massachusetts.

She was married to James Sears. James Sears was born in 1675. He died in 1749 in , Gloucester, Virginia. Sarah Richmond
and James Sears had the following children:

+3 i. William Sears (born in 1702).

THIRD GENERATION

3. William Sears was born in 1702 in , Gloucester, Virginia. He appeared on the census in 1784 in , Gloucester, Virginia. He
died after 1785 in Gloucester, Gloucester, Virginia.

He was married to Sarah ? about 1723.
