Hi Bailey,
I think you did miss a generation.Philana Belfry daughter of Jacob and Joanna was born Oct. 22/1811.Harold Clement Brown was born May 27/1890.Unless my dates are wildly out of whack,that would make Philana 78 years of age at the time of Harold's birth.Philana Belfry was actually married to Robert Smith May 1/1843(Ontario Marriage Records for Home District 1816 to 1857).Robert and Philana's daughter Arabella Philana Smith(born 1858) was married to Hugh Geddes Brown June 4/1879.Making her only 32 years of age at the time of Harold's birth,which makes more sense.If I am incorrect please show me where and I will change it.In fact one of my contacts was using a gedcom from your father Gord Reid as a source for this very information.
