I believe what is in the silver books [5 generations project] has already been proven as far as the society is concerned. You just have to prove the last 7 generations to link into those books. The town vital records are acceptable. Just cite the page number in fact a copy of the page and book cover page is great. will save you the effort of requesting all those birth/death/marriage records from the town halls.
